Kobold Press has put up an updated version of my 2004 Silven Trumpeter article “The Many Faces of Gaming: Female Gamers.” It’s the first in a number of articles about diversity in gaming that may appear there. In the last 2 years I’ve edited many publications for Kobold, but this is the first thing I’ve written for them.

Apologies for the lack of an update since Gen Con. I finished a large project for Kobold Press in the middle of September and have been on a break for the last month or so. I’m hoping to get some work done on my novel, though my fitness efforts have eaten up a lot of my energy. I am available to do freelance work, either writing or editing.

I will be in indy from mid-morning Wednesday until early evening Sunday. I have various engagements throughout the convention, but also a fair amount of time free. If you’d like to get together to hang out or to talk business, please let me know.

Looking forward to Gen Con this year, despite higher cost of transportation (LA is much farther from Indy than NY). I have a fair bit going on this year with Red Aegis, a lot of editing/development on Kobold products, and a few other things yet unrevealed, so this is a nice Gen Con to be able to relax a bit, without the need to network/pimp myself for work. That said, if anyone wants to talk about design, development, or editing projects, I can usually find room.

I will be at Origins Game Fair this year. I arrive on Friday, June 13th in the morning and leave Sunday evening. If anyone would like to meet up on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, drop me note.
